This new header and navigation option dynamically changes based on the specific scenario to create the best user interface for the end user. Once set up, this new feature will provide the following benefits:
On the home page, the page starts by showing the navigation at the top of the page, and the logo beneath it.
As the user scrolls down the page, the main traditional header will scroll away, but the top section navigation will remain fixed on scroll, with a small version of the logo popping into the navigation as the page scrolls down.
If the user scrolls back up to the top, the main header will display, and the small logo in the nav will then disappear.
On index pages, the behavior is similar, but with a smaller, compact header logo.
On asset pages, the site logo starts off in the top navigation. As the user scrolls down, the headline of the asset pops into the navigation bar (instead of the section links) to help remind the user what asset they are currently reading. We also promote sharing links on the bar to encourage social sharing. When the user scrolls back up the page, the headline of the asset is replaced again with site sections to help navigate to other pages.
