In order to reduce the occurrence of emails from the BLOX CMS system (such as password reset emails) going to a user's spam folder, we will start honoring SPF (Sender Policy Framework) rules.

This means that if a site has SFP rules set up in their DNS, the "from" header address for BLOX CMS emails will be sent as the branded email for the site.

If SPF rules are not configured to allow BLOX CMS to send email on the site's behalf, the BLOX CMS system will send "no-reply@tn-cloud.net" as the from header address.

If SPF rules are not set up at all, there will be no changes.

More information on how to set up SPF rules for TownNews is available here.

These changes should mean more users will be able to see important emails coming from the BLOX CMS system.

This does not affect Email Reach newsletters.
